★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lugar é interessante pela história mas como tudo no Brasil, sem apoio nenhum ao turista. Tudo fechado, placas mal conservadas.... Para chegar lá passa por lugares muito feios. Mas para quem está por ali, tem que ir até essa cidade histórica. Mas sair de Porto Seguro só para visitar o lugar, precisa muito gostar de história.
 Place is interesting for the history but like everything in Brazil, without any support to the tourist. Everything closed, badly maintained signs .... To get there you go through very ugly places. But for those who are there, you have to go to this historic city. But leaving Porto Seguro just to visit the place, you really need to like history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apesar de termos ido num dia de domingo a igreja estava fechada. Aproveitamos um pouco da paisagem, bem bonita pois a igreja fica numa colina. Diante disso não levamos mais do que poucos minutos para visitar o local. Mas logo ao chegar um homem se apresentou dizendo que cobrava 5,00. Não era ligado a nada do local e nem era estacionamento, Na saída ignoramos essa abordagem indevida, e não pagamos nada. Ao lado tem uma ruína que a placa diz ser desconhecida.
Although we went on a Sunday, the church was closed. We enjoyed a little of the landscape, very beautiful because the church is on a hill. Given that, it took us no more than a few minutes to visit the place. But as soon as he arrived, a man introduced himself saying he was charging 5.00. It was not connected to anything in the place and it was not parking. At the exit we ignore this improper approach, and we do not pay anything. Next to it is a ruin that the sign says is unknown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ É Muito bonito, mas sem estrutura nenhuma, somente as explicações dos guias locais que ao final da apresentação pede para contribuir financeiramente. O cenário é de filme de época, igreja,cemitério, cadeia e ruinas desconhecidas. Para a história, sentir o clima e, apreciar a paisagem, vale muito a pena. Na igreja tem missas e casamentos.
It is very beautiful, but without any structure, only the explanations of the local guides that at the end of the presentation ask to contribute financially. The setting is from a period movie, church, cemetery, jail and unknown ruins. For history, feeling the weather and enjoying the scenery, it's really worth it. In the church there are masses and weddings.
