★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fui ontem ver como era o método de ensino do curso de Revit na On Byte Penha (visto que atendente não informava o valor do curso através do WhatsApp, e insistiu que eu visitasse o local para ver o método de ensino). O ambiente é aconchegante e tenho certeza que a intenção de não ter que esperar "fechar turma" para cursar (podendo cursar imediatamente aliás) é a visão e boa intenção do instituto. Mas infelizmente, na minha opinião, o método de ensino deles, sem um professor habilitado para o programa expecífico, se é que posso chamar de ensino, é péssimo. Sou projetista, conheço o básico da interface do Revit devido a algumas videoaulas, mas pelo método de ensino deles, eu fiquei totalmente perdido no que estava fazendo. Consiste apenas de uma animação com a interface do programa (não é o programa livremente), e a máquina vai ordenando o que fazer para cada tarefa. Não há uma explicação de como funciona a ferramenta, nem como é usual na prática do trabalho e nem como o programa interpreta cada comando... você simplesmente segue cegamente as ordens da animação "clique aqui, agora aqui, edite este valor para X". Com 10 minutos seguindo as ordens do computador, interrompi e perguntei ao "instrutor": "- isso seria a aula?". Para minha surpresa, foi afirmativa a resposta, só complementando que após a sequência de ordens seguidas, haveria um exercício com interação livre no programa. Voltei até a atendente que me passou o valor finalmente, e fiz essas mesmas queixas, questionando muito desse método de ensino, visto que eu não estava aprendendo nada. Dei uma olhada na apostila, e foi pior do que imaginava, a apostila segue o mesmo esquema, "ferramenta X, faça isso, depois isso, depois isso". Saí de lá com a certeza que iria procurar outra instituição de ensino, ou até mesmo um aula online com algum engenheiro ou projetista capacitado. No meu ver, não há ensino algum, somente o seguimento de ordens cegamente para completar a tarefa, e no mercado de trabalho, pelo menos na área de projetos, é necessário conhecer a ferramenta para pensar e criar, não há ordem ou passo-a-passo a ser seguido. Se eu precisasse apenas de um certificado até faria pela praticidade de inicio imediato e poder cursar com horário flexível, além de ser próximo de onde moro, mas para aprender de fato, não recomendo.
 I went yesterday to see how the Revit course was taught in On Byte Penha (since attendant did not report the value of the course through WhatsApp, and insisted that I visit the site to see the teaching method). The atmosphere is cozy and I'm sure that the intention of not having to wait "close class" to attend (and can attend immediately anyway) is the vision and good intention of the institute. But unfortunately, in my opinion, their teaching method, without a teacher qualified for the specific program, if I can call it teaching, sucks. I'm a designer, I know the basics of the Revit interface because of some videotapes, but by their teaching method, I was totally lost in what I was doing. It consists of only one animation with the program interface (it is not the program freely), and the machine is ordering what to do for each task. There is no explanation of how the tool works, nor how it is usual in the practice of work and nor how the program interprets each command ... you simply blindly follow the orders of the animation "click here, now here, edit this value for X" . With 10 minutes following the orders of the computer, I interrupted and asked the "instructor": "- would this be the lesson?". To my surprise, the answer was affirmative, only complementing that after the sequence of orders followed, there would be an exercise with free interaction in the program. I returned to the attendant who finally gave me the courage, and I made those same complaints, questioning this teaching method a lot, since I was not learning anything. I took a look at the handout, and it was worse than I imagined, the handout follows the same scheme, "Tool X, do that, then that, then that." I left with the certainty that I would look for another educational institution, or even an online class with a trained engineer or designer. In my view, there is no teaching at all, only following orders blindly to complete the task, and in the job market, at least in the area of projects, it is necessary to know the tool to think and create, there is no order or step-a -Time to follow. If I only needed a certificate I would even do it for the practicality of immediate start and flexible hours, besides being close to where I live, but to learn in fact, I do not recommend it.
