★ ★ ★ ★ ★ É bom o Hostel, só que não tivemos um bom quarto, o banheiro teve uma reforma e não se vê terminada. Foi um problema ligar o chuveiro, mas o serviço e o café da manhã é bom.
The Hostel is good, it's just that we didn't have a good room, the bathroom had a renovation and it's not finished. It was a problem to turn on the shower but the service and breakfast is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have to love old building to appreciate the hostel. No complaints except that beds and pillow should be newer and cleaner. They look dirty and old. Location is very close to the square where San Joao is celebrated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived at 11:30pm, the guy at the entrance took 45minutes to check us in . He tried to make us pay 3 times the amount , then two times , then randomly typed the wrong (always way higher) amount on the credit card reader . After arguing quite nervously , E finally got the room. One of our beds wasn't made. They never bothered to make it or even provide clean sheets. Had to sleep on what looks like a dirty sofa.
Arrived at breakfast, I would recommend anyone to avoid it, it looks like it's stayed of of the fridge for 3 days. No juices , not much to chose from. Clearly the worst hostel I've been in in ages.
1 star for the building , that is quite beautiful and we'll located.
