★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vale a pena visitar e conferir o resultado do trabalho de restauro, principalmente o que refere aos azulejos portugueses que foram removidos um a um, tirado o salitre e recolocados em uma superfície protegida.
Se a porta principal estiver fechada, procure entrar pela rua lateral.
Tem sempre uma pessoa para lhe atender.
It is worth visiting and checking the result of the restoration work, especially regarding the Portuguese tiles that were removed one by one, the saltpeter removed and replaced on a protected surface.
If the main door is closed, try to enter through the side street.
There is always someone to help you.

The largest collection of Portuguese tiles here in Brazil is present here in this church.
It is open for visitation following the WHO protocols. The visitation is sooooo worth it, the guide who was naked explained everything and solved any doubts. I fell in love. Come see the history and culture of the cities of Recôncavo Baiano, it is beautiful!
