★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impossível não observar sua arquitetura arrojada ao passar pela Via Anhanguera sentido capital. Dirigindo pela via, entrei na cidade de Araras para conhecê-la. Mais que a imponência da arquitetura moderna - que também tem seu valor - para os católicos visitar o templo tem seu significado espiritual, o momento para agradecer, orar, entrar em contato com uma força maior, desligando-se das coisas materiais do mundo por algum tempo. E a figura de Maria, mãe de Jesus, na denominação Aparecida possui muitos devotos no Brasil, daí este templo ter vitrais que retratam um pouco dessa fé mariana e a história, quando foi encontrada a imagem no Rio Paraíba do Sul. Os vitrais seguem as linhas arquitetônicas, triangular, conforme está na representação tradicional da imagem da santa com seu manto azul. O formato piramidal também tem sido muito usado em outros modernos templos católicos, independentemente de levar o nome de Nossa Senhora Aparecida.
