Nossa visita aconteceu antes do isolamento.
Igreja com um estilo eclético, com predominância dos elementos neoclássicos e torre sineira única. Localizada na parte alta de Coruripe. Como estava fechada para visitação podemos falar do seu entorno. Na parte frontal tem um extenso adro pavimentado em blocos intertravados com escadaria de acesso principal. Sua fachada principal é composta por duas porções referentes à nave e à torre sineira. A torre sineira, possui um óculo vazado, que deveria abrigar um relógio nunca instalado. O tamanho e localização da igreja permitem que a mesma seja visualizada da estrada que liga Maceió com a parte sul do estado via praias.

Our visit took place before isolation.
Church with an eclectic style, with predominance of neoclassical elements and a unique bell tower. Located in the upper part of Coruripe. As it was closed for visitation we can talk about its surroundings. At the front there is an extensive churchyard paved in interlocking blocks with the main access staircase. Its main façade consists of two portions referring to the nave and the bell tower. The bell tower has a hollow window, which should have a clock never installed. The size and location of the church allows it to be viewed from the road that connects Maceió with the southern part of the state via beaches.
