★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nota 0, por eu ter ido uma vez em 2014 e uma em 2016 percebendo diferenças absurdas no interior dessa igreja. Rídiculas as reformas que fizeram tirando a beleza dos vitrais que contavam a história do Padroeiro e o da Santa Ceia acima do altar, o crucifixo e as paredes de Pedra antigas do Altar. Sem contar que tiraram um enorme Sacrário Santíssimo de Jesus, feito de ouro e que ficava no altar para todo mundo ver. Agora a imagem do Padroeiro fica toda escondida. Tanta gente deve ter batalhado com dízimo e ofertas para deixar a igreja bonita para virem pessoas que não tem valorização e respeito pela história da Paróquia e de seus membros, incluindo os que não são mais vivos e destruir tudo pela modernização esquisita. Se eu fosse o Padre e o Conselho Paroquial em vez de fazer estas reformas na arquitetura interior sem necessidade, eu comprava sinos de bronze bonitos para ficar na torre e animar a vida da região da Paróquia que costuma ser quieta. A falta de valorização da história e da beleza por modernizações absurdas em muitas Paróquias como essa, só mostram o porque que o Brasil não vai para frente e se torna um lugar esquisito e ruim para as futuras gerações a cada tempo que se passa. Lamentável. "Um povo que não valoriza sua história, sua arte e beleza é um povo sem futuro e condenado ao fracasso"(autor desconhecido).
Note 0, because I went once in 2014 and once in 2016 noticing absurd differences inside this church. Ridiculous the renovations they carried out, taking away the beauty of the stained glass windows that told the story of the Patron Saint and that of the Holy Supper above the altar, the crucifix and the old stone walls of the Altar. Not to mention that they took out a huge Holy Shrine of Jesus, made of gold and which was on the altar for everyone to see. Now the image of the Patron is completely hidden. So many people must have struggled with tithes and offerings to make the church beautiful for people who have no appreciation and respect for the history of the Parish and its members, including those who are no longer alive and destroy everything by weird modernization. If I were the Priest and the Parish Council, instead of making these renovations to the interior architecture unnecessarily, I would buy beautiful bronze bells to stay in the tower and liven up the life of the normally quiet Parish region. The lack of appreciation of history and beauty by absurd modernizations in many Parishes like this, only show why Brazil does not go forward and becomes a weird and bad place for future generations with each passing time. Unfortunate. "A people that does not value its history, its art and beauty is a people without a future and doomed to failure" (author unknown).
