★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Templo em louvor a São Gonçalo, festejado no período de 21 a 30 de dezembro. A igreja de Amarante é uma das mais antigas da arquidiocese de Teresina. Antes mesmo de se tornar paróquia em 1899, a devoção ao padroeiro já aconteciam. É um prédio antigo e voltado para o Rio Parnaiba que margeia a cidade. Lindo. Merece ser visitado.
Temple in honor of São Gonçalo, celebrated in the period from 21 to 30 December. The church of Amarante is one of the oldest in the archdiocese of Teresina. Even before becoming a parish in 1899, devotion to the patron was already taking place. It is an old building facing the Parnaiba River that borders the city. Beautiful. It deserves to be visited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Igreja católica. Grande e bonita. Bem ventilada sobre uma colina. Um excelente lugar para fotos. Tem uma Praça arborizada em frente. É perto da beira do rio, que é outro local muito bom para fotografias.
Catholic church. Big and beautiful. Well ventilated on a hill. A great place for photos. It has a tree lined square in front. It is near the riverside which is another very good spot for photography.
