Great to visit and see the monkeys. Lots of trees. Silence in the Copacabana area... almost an Oasis.

Good place to organize a picnic. You may book if you want to organize an birthday event for your children. Nature is inside the city.

All trails were closed, signs were out but no sign to stop us from wasting our time looking. Worker could see we were confused and ignored us anyway.

Hidden gem in Copacabana. Great for picknicking with kids. There is an small trail (25minutes) very easy ( kids friendly) into the tropical forests of Rio de Janeiro.

Nice place to read a book, or just go for a walk. It's not a big place, not ideal for hiking

Easy-to-medium level hike in one of the safest areas of Rio de Janeiro. It takes 40-70 minutes to get to the top. Just follow the yellow and black signs and eventually you'll get to the pole marking the highest point. The view from the top is unique in a way that there is no other hill with a view of that angle. It's important to highlight that one must return through the same way; it's not possible to trespass to nearby properties and the extension of this hike leads straight to favela (not recommended for gringoes).

A gorgeous surviving natural spot ! A piece of Atlantic Rainforest. Some gardens and small allotments l at entrance, educational posters, toilets and pram/wheelchair accessible There is walking path further down, a gorgeous green area, quieter and greener all made in partnership with mayor and local uni. A place to be visited and must be continuously supported as housing market always threatens the destruction of green areas in Rio.
