Ideal para um passeio com a família (muuuito cuidado com as crianças, principalmente miudinhas).
Mas, até chegar lá, precisa de autorização na entrada, tem horário específico pra cada grupo entrar.

Boa parte das cachoeiras estão dentro do complexo hidrelétrico da CHESF, novamente está aberto a visitação. A visitação pode ser feita com guias locais, ao custo de R$150, por carro, podendo assim levar 5 pessoas em cada carro. O guia fará um tour por dentro da CHESF, você irá visitar a Ilha do Urubu, onde contate com uma visão deslumbrante de cachoeiras e queda dágua, também irá no Bondinho, onde os trabalhadores da chesf, iam do estado da Bahia para Alagoas, atravessando os cânions do rio São Francisco, no mesmo local você consegue vê de longe a furna do morcego, um complexo de caverna, onde havia uma igreja dentro. A visita compreende vários locais e tem duração em média de uma hora, faça a programação e reserva antes com o guia, pode haver fila nós locais. Não deixe de fechar a visitação em outros locais da cidade, como o raso da Catarina e o rio do sal.
Paulo Afonso's waterfalls are a true work of art created by nature. Most of the waterfalls are within the CHESF hydroelectric complex, again open to visitors.
