O local está cadastrado no Sistema Nacional de Sítio Arqueológicos do IPHAN, e anualmente recebe inúmeros turistas, estudantes e pesquisadores que vem conferir de perto, os registros feitos no período da pré-história.
With a rock formation that served as a shelter for various prehistoric human groups, the archaeological site has preserved cave paintings dating back over 2,000 years.
The site is registered in the National Archaeological Site System of IPHAN, and annually receives numerous tourists, students and researchers who come closely to check the records made in the prehistory period.
