★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was authentic and legit. The mood was set from the soft jazz playing and the service of the waiters and staff. Both appetizers (burrata) were on point and the pasta dish was cooked al dente to perfection. Highly recommend

Food was really excellent & the wine ?
Shall deffo go back for sure! Service very high level as well & a fair price we felt.
The atmosphere is a little stiff but that’s because it’s a high end restaurant for Rio so ppl clearly make an effort when they go there.
That didn’t stop us having a wonderful culinary experience there tho!
& as mentioned the staff were cool & made us feel at ease whilst proving decent service.
Look forward to eating there again!
Lastly really enjoyed their music taste when we were there.
Old retro American classics..wonderful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The no longer had the executive menue. Got the filet migion with gnocchi, lasagna and a pasta dish with sausage. Got 2 cocktail and a glass on wine. The lasagna was an oily mess. The filet was cooked well but could have been a better cut of meat. The gnocchi was slightly fried and was delicious. My pasta dish was not what I expected. The pasta was thick, more like gnocchi in texture. The sauce was decent and the sausage was chopped very fine making it more a flavoring rather than a substantial part of the dish. The cocktails were average. I say one of the bartenders remove his mask frequently. The wine was acidic and seemed cheap. The manager spoke to all of the guests but ignored us. Our server was above average, however not deserving the 13% service charge. Try the pasta and vino resteraunt for a way better pasta experience and better prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty atmosphere and a smaller restaurant. Solid food. Lasagna di melanzane for appetizer is big enough for a whole meal but for the love of god, do not miss it. It’s the best vegetarian lasagna I’ve had in years! Really yummy and comes with some nice bread that you can use to soak up everything on the plate!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and atmosphere. The decor is very inviting. I had a cocktail that had hibiscus tea, and that was delicious. The risotto was also to die for. We also ordered the fish of the day, which came with this sweet paste that took a little bit away from the grilled vegetables and fish. We ended up just having it has dessert because it was very dense.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty italian food in Ipanema. The ambiance is very nice, with jazz motif and jazz music softly playing. The table we were in at the back of the restaurant was nice, but a few times a foul smell from the back reached us. The service was perfect. Food was very good, but nothing out of this world. All the portions, presentations and flavors were balanced and fair. Would come back if invited.
