About Plastipak Packaging do Brasil
Plastipak strives to have a positive impact in the improvement of the communities in which it operates. We continually participate in outreach initiatives across the globe such as scholarship programs, sponsoring organizations tackling challenging health issues, and partnering with local schools to support students in reaching their potential. As Plastipak grows, so does our ability to impact the communities around us.
For example, in North America, Plastipak supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) in the fight against type 1 diabetes by participating in annual walks to raise money for research. Plastipak also partners with Detroit Cristo Rey High School in a work study program. The partnership allows economically challenged students to gain real world job experience at Plastipak. In addition, Plastipak also partners with Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars (DRDFS). The organization provides local students who exhibit a spark of passion for achieving a post-secondary certificate or degree with academic support and scholarships.
