★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cidade tem poucas opções em gastronomia. Apesar de ser o portal do Jalapão ainda precisa de uma infraestrutura mais organizada. Destaque para a Pousada Águas do Jalapão e para o restaurante tamboril que oferecem atendimento diferenciado e de qualidade. Quando for a Ponte Alta não deixem de conferir.
The city has few options in gastronomy. Despite being the portal of Jalapão still needs a more organized infrastructure. Highlight for the Pousada Águas do Jalapão and the monkfish restaurant that offer differentiated and quality service. When it is the High Bridge be sure to check it out.

O roteiro, guias e agendamentos têm que ser feitos com antecedência antes de partir para Ponte Alta do Tocantins.
Combinei tudo com antecedência pelo Whatsapp com o Guia Dólar.
A experiência foi incrível.

É muita pedra e areia pelo caminho.
Não indico usar carro particular, não compensa.

Os guias que eu contratei são Guias Raiz do Jalapão. Sabem tudo da região: vegetação, animais, relevo, o que você quiser saber eles têm a resposta.
Todos os locais de refeições indicados pelos Guia, comida regional, de excelente qualidade e sabor.
O percurso mais fácil e perto de Ponte Alta é a Lagoa do Japonês arrependi de ter ido no meu carro. Antes de chegar no local tem uma descida de aproximadamente 01 quilômetro. O carro que não é 4x4 sofre.
Quando você entra dentro do Jalapão você vai entender e valorizar o preço que é cobrado. Nada é fácil nessa região.
Minha dica contrata um guia em Ponte Alta, juntamente com o carro do guia que será um carro preparado para a região.
Os guias que eu citei foram excelentes em todos os sentidos.
