★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A ponte da Vila Guilherme sobre o rio Tietê foi construída por volta de 1919 ainda em madeira. O rio nem era canalizado ainda. O bairro, ligado ao Pari pela ponte, era bastante simples e pouco populoso.
The Vila Guilherme bridge over the Tietê river was built around 1919 still in wood. The river wasn't even channeled yet. The neighborhood, connected to Pari by the bridge, was quite simple and sparsely populated.
