★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Localizada no limite do município de piranguinho com a cidade de Itajubá, a história da ponte de ferro de piranguinho tem o seu início no final do século XIX, aproximadamente por volta dalo ano 1882, quando o objetivo da estrada de ferro que por ali passava era ligar as cidades de Itajubá e Santa Rita do Sapucaí. Em três de março de 1896, com a inauguração da estação definitiva e o término da construção da Ponte de Ferro sobre o Rio Sapucaí o trem deu sua primeira entrada em Piranguinho passando por viários outras cidades.
Located on the edge of the municipality of piranguinho with the city of Itajubá, the history of the piranguinho iron bridge begins in the late nineteenth century, approximately around the year 1882, when the purpose of the passing railroad was connect the cities of Itajubá and Santa Rita do Sapucaí. On March 3, 1896, with the inauguration of the definitive station and the completion of the construction of the Iron Bridge over the Sapucaí River, the train made its first entry into Piranguinho through several other cities.
