★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muito interessante a visita, é possível ter uma visão panorâmica da cidade com um pouco de contextualização (textos falando sobre a história de Teresina). O tempo para ficar no mirante é de 10 minutos, para mim foi muito pouco, então caso queira ficar mais tempo considere comprar dois boletos (comprei 3 no mesmo dia!).
The visit was very interesting, it is possible to have a panoramic view of the city with a little contextualization (texts talking about the history of Teresina). The time to stay at the lookout is 10 minutes, for me it was very little, so if you want to stay longer, consider buying two tickets (I bought 3 on the same day!).

A Ponte Estaiada do Sesquicentenário Mestre João Isidoro França foi projetada para as comemorações dos 150 anos de Teresina, no estado brasileiro do Piauí. Inaugurada em março de 2010, é um dos mais importantes pontos turísticos da capital piauiense.
Trata-se de ponte feita em concreto armado, em tecnologia estaiada, com extensão de 363 metros, distribuída em seis vãos, dos quais três construídos pelo processo de balanço sucessivo e três em processo convencional e com 35 estaios . A plataforma de rolamento possui três faixas de tráfego de 3,10 metros e passeio para pedestre de 2,15 metros. Possui mastro único para estaiamento, que abriga, em seu topo, um mirante a quase 100m de altura, em estrutura metálica, acessível por elevadores e escada de emergência. Vale a pena conhecer e subir no mirante.

The Estaiada Bridge of the Sesquicentennial Master João Isidoro França was designed to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Teresina, in the Brazilian state of Piauí. Opened in March 2010, it is one of the most important tourist attractions in the capital of Piauí.
It is a bridge made in reinforced concrete, in cable-stayed technology, with a length of 363 meters, distributed in six spans, of which three were built using the successive cantilever process and three in the conventional process and with 35 stays. The rolling platform has three 3.10-meter traffic lanes and a 2.15-meter pedestrian walkway. It has a single mast for guying, which houses, at its top, an observation deck at almost 100m in height, in a metallic structure, accessible by elevators and emergency stairs. It is worth knowing and going up to the viewpoint.
