★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's quite fair - and that was the problem - to be called a Resort. Foods and attendants are excellents, but I did not like checkout policy and the fact that people can "rent a Resort day"...and not always in the "same mood of" other guests...in summary, "so far so good".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an OK hotel — I’m an American traveler and this is my first time in Brazil and first time visiting Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. Pros include clean and well kept rooms and a well rounded on site restaurant and bar. Cons include a major renovation to the main swimming pool (the main reason we booked the hotel, far / unwalkable distance from central town and unfriendly and unhelpful reception and conceirge. The latter points being very challenging for any American / English speaking traveler. Communication with the conceirge and reception was very challenging...so much so that we could not even book a single expedition out into the dunes through the desk. We had to travel in to town via taxi to organize all of this which was time consuming and disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is just a regular hotel. Room was clean and fairly big. The sheets and towels were clean. The AC worked perfect. Not so much natural light into the room in the morning. The diner menu was fine. The breakfast has a variety of everything. The service was ok.

I would suggest to improve the internet service, is not acceptable don’t have a network services on the rooms. We couldn’t to have home office from here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good place. Amazing facilities. The only thing I would improve is the following:
- get professional level internet. I spent so much time trying to get your internet to work, I had to drive to town to an internet cafe for a whole day to do work. This is 2022, in which people expect good internet. Seeing the town has amazingly fast internet, there is no excuse for your slow, unreliable internet.
- the staff are great, especially Danielo who works nights. I would say, the staff are a little cold and too professional. More smiles and being more familiar with guests would work better. Just relax and enjoy talking to the guests. Again, this is 2022 where everyone just wants relaxed, down to earth people.
That is all, I am happy, but need to tell you these things.
Note, every time I lose connection, you lose a star on your rating, we started at 4 and the internet failed 3 times so...
Now you are at 1. Really sorry about this but you need some motivation to get reliable internet. ?
By the way, I was sitting in the following places:
- bar - terrible
- restaurant - terrible
- auditorium - better but still terrible. The router is 1 meter above my head.
