★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Infelizmente, abastecemos com gasolina da promoção semana passada, uns 5 km depois começou a falhar muito e no dia seguinte o carro não pegou mais. Chamamos um mecânico (que poderia muito bem ter dado pau em alguma peça pra ganhar em cima), gastamos R$ 100 com a visita (domingão), e ele mostrou que havia água na gasolina. A água, quando se mistura com os 27% de etanol da gasolina, desce para o fundo do tanque (a gasolina é menos densa), e ai a bomba suga água + etanol primeiro. Com muito custo fizemos o carro pegar, falhando bastante, e aceleramos na lenta durante uns 10 minutos até queimar a água, só depois disso que o carro voltou a funcionar 100%. Os R$ 50 de gasosa que colocamos, se transformaram num gasto de R$ 150 e ainda perdemos boa parte do combustível. Gostaríamos de acreditar que a contaminação da gasolina com água possa ter sido acidental (entrada de água pela tampa do tanque subterrâneo do posto?) mas pelo preço abaixo da média, pode ter sido adulteração proposital.
Unfortunately, we refueled with gasoline from the promotion last week, about 5 km later it started to fail a lot and the next day the car didn't start anymore. We called in a mechanic (who might as well have beaten some piece to win on top), spent R $ 100 on the visit (Sunday), and he showed that there was water in the gasoline. The water, when mixed with the 27% ethanol in gasoline, goes down to the bottom of the tank (gasoline is less dense), and then the pump sucks water + ethanol first. With a lot of cost we made the car start, failing a lot, and accelerated in the slow for about 10 minutes until the water burned, only after that the car started running 100% again. The R $ 50 of gas that we put in, became an expense of R $ 150 and we still lose a good part of the fuel. We would like to believe that the contamination of gasoline with water may have been accidental (water entering through the cover of the station's underground tank?) But for the below-average price, it may have been deliberate adulteration.
