The reception of the wifi within the room was really poor and one of the receptionist couldn't speak English at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking to stay in the middle of Pelorinho, then this is beautiful little pousada is the place for you. The pousada itself is gorgeous and clean with very helpful staff - probably the best pousada I've stayed at in Brazil! There's marble every where, it's very clean and well done, and the only gotcha inside the hotel is that it's small with at least one flight of stairs to get to your room and no elevator (definitely not accessible!). Also: the A/C worked well, which was very badly needed in hot Salvador over New Year's!
The gotcha is that Pelourinho, despite being the historic centre of the city, is not the greatest neighborhood. There are lots of homeless around, and I certainly didn't feel particularly safe walking the streets there.
Bottom line: beautiful gem of a pousada in the middle of the historic part of Salvador, just beware that the neighborhood itself isn't the greatest. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're going to stay in Pelorinho.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for a few nights. Great location. Excellent staff with good recommendations. Room was a bit tight but is to be expected for a group of 3. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Adequate breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cute place in the center of the city in Pelourinho the most touristic place.
The rooms are very clean and brand new and enjoyed some quality sleep. Even tho the walls aint too thick and i got waken up by a Chilean family that decided to use the hairdrier at 6 AM. The shower is the worst thing they have. Sometimes temperature changing and even lights goin off. Stayed twice in the hotel so i wanted to give em a chance bt the second one i didnt have enough hot water to take a shower after my gfs (at night)
The breakfast was very good and there was a lot of choice
The service was just perfect. Very sweet ppl at the recepcion and very friendly
I would recommend it
