★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pousada bem acolhedora. Tem uma estrutura simples, mas propõe um bom conforto. Comida muito boa, preço acessível e pessoas gentis. Dá para você se sentir em casa. Dona Zefinha, dona da pousada, cuida muito bem de tudo e seu filho Genivaldo é um excelente guia nas belíssimas trilhas que o Vale do Catimbau oferta. Lugar excepcional.
 Very welcoming hostel. It has a simple structure, but proposes a good comfort. Very good food, affordable price and kind people. You can feel at home. Dona Zefinha, owner of the inn, takes good care of everything and her son Genivaldo is an excellent guide on the beautiful trails that the Catimbau Valley offers. Exceptional place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Próximo ao parque e da sede da associação dos guias. Local super simples mas muito limpo. Fomos recebidos com muito carinho e respeito. As refeições são deliciosas incluídas na diária o que é ótimo! Pois as trilhas são feitas em horários predeterminados por conta do calor. Começa às 7h para às 11h e pouca, o almoço é servido às 12h. E retornamos para trilha às 15h até o entardecer e o jantar é servido às 19h. Detalhe é que toda vila aceita cartão de crédito ou débito e PIX.
Close to the park and the headquarters of the guides association. Super simple place but very clean. We were received with great affection and respect. Meals are delicious included in the rate which is great! Because the trails are done at predetermined times because of the heat. Starts at 7am to 11am and lunch is served at 12pm. And we return to the trail at 3pm until sunset and dinner is served at 7pm. Detail is that every village accepts credit or debit card and PIX.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Experiência muito boa. Atendimento, hospitalidade, localização (vista pro Vale do Catimbau - Pedra do Cachorro). Banho quentinho (à noite tava bem frio quando voltamos das trilhas). Comida caseirinha deliciosa, fazia tempo que eu não me sentia tão bem almoçando fora de casa e jantando. Recomendo. Voltaria sem dúvidas. Recomendo o Arison como guia. Foi o nosso guia, super solícito conosco (cel: 87 99971-7403).
Very good experience. Service, hospitality, location (view to Vale do Catimbau - Pedra do Cachorro). Warm bath (at night it was very cold when we got back from the trails). Delicious homemade food, it's been a while since I felt so good eating lunch outside the house and having dinner. I recommend. Would go back without a doubt. I recommend Arison as a guide. It was our guide, super helpful with us (cel: 87 99971-7403).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pousada é boa e oferece quartos com chuveiro elétrico. Possui alimentação caso queira incluir na diária. O único ponto negativo, é que os banheiros não tem cortina o que deixa o mesmo cheio de água. Além disso, não oferece estacionamento.
The hostel is good and offers rooms with an electric shower. It has food if you want to include it in the daily rate. The only negative point is that the bathrooms do not have a curtain which leaves them full of water. Also, it does not offer parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pousada é a única com estacionamento. Cada lugar que você olha tem quarto na casa. São adaptações feitas para receber pessoas. As camas não são das mais confortáveis. As instalações são bem simples e só tem ventilador. Quanto a alimentação, precisa melhorar muito! Já o atendimento deles é excepcional, todos muito educados!!! Essa é uma avaliação real de alguém que tem facilidade para dormir e não conseguiu nem descansar na cama da pousada.
The inn is the only one with parking. Every place you look has room in the house. They are adaptations made to receive people. Beds are not the most comfortable. The facilities are very simple and only have a fan. As for the food, it needs to improve a lot! Their service is exceptional, everyone is very polite!!! This is a real assessment of someone who is easy to sleep and couldn't even rest in the bed at the inn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Para los que les gusta convivir con el ruido de la naturaleza y conocer como vive la gente local, es un lugar estupendo ya que después de visitar el Parque Nacional de Catimbau y en espera de la cena, puedes salir a beber algo y de paso compartir con su gente.
Es una posada muy sencilla pero el personal es atento y otro punto positivo es que estás cerca del parque y es más agradable hacer las caminatas sin pensar que tienes que hacer más de una hora en transporte.
Así que si eres alguien acostumbrado al lujo y a lo comfortable no es para ti.
Yo lo recomiendo, nosotras pasamos 3 días ahí y la verdad fue estupendo, descubrimos hermosos paisajes y más que todo nos llevamos su historia.
For those who like to live with the noise of nature and learn how local people live, it is a great place because after visiting the Catimbau National Park and waiting for dinner, you can go out for a drink and share with his people.
It is a very simple inn but the staff is attentive and another positive point is that you are close to the park and it is more pleasant to do the walks without thinking that you have to do more than an hour in transport.
So if you are someone accustomed to luxury and comfort, this is not for you.
I recommend it, we spent 3 days there and the truth was great, we discovered beautiful landscapes and more than anything we took its history with us.
