★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wind, flat water, internet, awesome food. All I have asked for... PKG is in Ilha de Guajiru with home made pasta with the best hosts ever! Wilma and Carlo will take good care of you (they are Italians). This is the only place to stay in this part of Ilha de Guajiru, so it means also that you are kiting alone in the flat water! There are only 4 basic rooms and internet works well. I originally wanted to go to the other side (upwind) of the Island but ended up finding this place, now I am back 3 times and will try to come every opportunity I have. What to consider: you can kite here anytime, it doesn't matter which tide: on high tide, launching and landing is not for beginners, the owners are always helpful, on low tide, this is the only place to kite and it is great. Also because this is the only commercial option here, you can only consume at PKG and the food is not dirt cheap, but I'd rather bring Wilma and Carlo to Brasil than having to fly to Italy to eat their delicious food, my favorite is their fettuccine with tomato and tuna; also try the gnocchi (sometimes there are fillet mignon and lobster available)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfriendly staff. Wanted to walk in for a beer after a downwinder (which was possible last year). It seems this year it’s not possible anymore. This fact is not the reason for this review. It’s the behavior of the employees - how to say this. Having this mood I would never choose that pousada for a stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous, quiet Pousada with fantastic hosts. Sits directly on the downstream side of the kite lagoon, which is perfect for beginners and a great access point for more advanced kite surfers. Cannot recommend enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you for the nice holiday, the accommodation is nice and clean. Especially the hospitality of the owner makes this place special. In the other side it is rustical and easy. If you go to this pusada must have some tolerance, to frogs, bats and of evry sound of the neighbours(like camping). For kite you are fast in the ocean(low tide also flat water). For rigging up the kite can be tricky at high tide the first few times. The food is delicious, but mor direction italy ;-). If you don't like you can catch a taxi (about 25 rs) to an other restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wilma and Carlo will take great care of you, and their homemade pasta is awesome. The place is simple and isolated, perfect if all you want to do is kite and rest. For kiting, the spot is close to the sea so you can kite any time, regardless of tide. Internet also works really well.
