★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is a very cozy and comfortable. It is possible to see that the rooms are simple, but that at the same time all the details were chosen carefully and with love. Lots of culture and people from outside are easily found, and the English language is known by the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived at the crack of dawn and were welcomed in away from the torrential rain to sleep on a sofa (after an overnight coach journey) foe a couple of hours before our room was ready. Then we had a plentiful vegan breakfast and and the room and overall site are beautiful. It's only a short walk into town as well. 5 stars all round!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We LOVED our stay there. The place has flair and soul. The rooms are cosy and beautiful. The garden is a small Eden. The food, especially the breakfast is so tasty and generous, with new surprises daily. And the staff is wonderful. We booked all our tours with Brasilien adventures and cannot speak highly of Cristiane and the guide she organised for us, Ty. They made our stay so very special and mind-blowing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this hotel. Friendly staff. Great room (just booked a standard double. Got room 21). Pool was nice too. Although i was a little baffled when i found out the tour i booked wasnt actually a tour comoany but instead just someone repackaging the tour of another major company at a higher price). Its up a hill, which was a bit of a struggle with wheely bags on cobbled streets. But its a good location and near enough to the action and bus stop whilst also quiet.
