Le lieu pour kiter est top. On a le choix entre le calme de la lagune ou les vagues en pleine mer.

The place for kiting is top. You have the choice between the calm of the lagoon or the waves in the open sea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent the best days of our Ceará - Piauí trip in the Pousada Villa Aloha. Olivier is a wonderful host who knows what a kiter is looking for. He would give us tips and take us to different spots that were perfect for the tide at any given time. He prepared vegan and gluten-free breakfast and made sure that we felt not just extremely welcome but also at home.
We are looking forward to coming to Patos again in the near future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place ! Olivier, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful. The pousada, the only one in the village, is very quiet and relaxing (and clean ofc).
The kite spots consist in big lagoons in front of the pousada. One is cut from the sea (and flat) at low tide, another one appears at very high tides. A third one (fresh water) is situated about 4-5 km away. Olivier can drive you there as you either need a 4WD or a buggy.
Many people come from Icarai de Amontada to kite there but very few know about the pousada.
I will definitely go back to Villa Aloha

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the most valuable hidden paradises in the kitesurfing world. Super friendly host, neat accommodation, tasty food and very well priced. During our stay of 7 days, we had 25 to 30kts every single day. The main spot works well at all tides, especially high tides, there are two areas with butter flat water ideal for big air. There is another sweet water spot 20min by buggy downwind, Olivier the host will take you there, where you can kite between cows and donkeys. The downwind side of this spot is the best as the wind is the most consistent there.
