★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Após 2 contratos de 1 ano academia simplesmente se mudou de endereço sem aviso prévio. Solicitei estorno do valor pago e o proprietário se recusa a devolver meu dinheiro.
 After 2 1-year contracts, the academy simply moved out of doors without notice. I requested a refund of the amount paid and the owner refuses to return my money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an older gym . But…. It’s the biggest and best value that I found in Rio . Most gyms here are small and not proper gyms. Most gyms here are just machines and people not really into a proper workout . At power gym you will find a pretty cool hardcore gym for a quarter of the price. You get three floors of machines. As o mention it’s a bit old but your getting very good value for money here. Also the people are friendly and welcoming . Whether you have one day one week or more in Rio then use this gym. Machines free weights and cardio across three floors. Safe and welcome place to be .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This one of the best gyms in Ipanema. No bureaucracy to join, no stupid commitment rules for months, no CPF required, etc.
The gym do has older equipments, machines, and dumbbells, but it’s very complete and has 3 floors full of machines.
The staff is very friendly, they don’t speak more than 20 words of english but they are willing to work it out and make you feel welcomed.
During the pandemic the place was great because they didn’t require masks, which was a great decision to wear it if you wanted to.
Miguel is a great guy and is always willing to do improvements at the gym (they are often fixing machines, replacing broken treadmills, and even got a new TV)
