Neste local há a o poço de São Roque, busto em homenagem ao Presidente Getúlio Vargas, Igreja de São Roque, antigo Bebedouro e um coreto, único da ilha.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na ilha de Paquetá, Rio de janeiro, tem vários 'cantinhos' lindos, e essa Praça é um deles.
Fica localizado a Igreja de São Roque, e que todo ano, no mês de agosto é comemorado o dia desse santo, dia 16.
Uma festa linda que, em procissão, com pessoas caracterizadas com roupas da época, cantando e encenando as passagens da vida de São Roque, sai da Igreja matriz, no cais da barca, e chega a Igreja de São Roque.
É maravilhoso, vale a pena participar.
Recomendo.

O padroeiro da ilha abençoa um dos pontos mais antigos da ilha. Enquanto as outras atrações fervilham num domingo á tarde a praça é o local mais tranqüilo que visitamos. Nessa praça está localizado o Poço de São Roque, que segundo reza a lenda teria águas miraculosas, que teriam curado ulceras na perna de D. João VI. Também tem o coreto por lá. Fizemos o city tour ( custo R$ 50,00) com o Sergio que pilota uma bicicleta movida a bateria e oferece um bom acento que acomoda duas pessoas e tem cobertura para abrigar do sol.

There is also the bandstand over there. We did the city tour (cost R $ 50.00) with Sergio who rides a battery-powered bicycle and offers a good accent that accommodates two people and has coverage to shelter from the sun.
