★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Voted Best Beach (unknown)by many, parking after 10am, a problem. Some of the best beach food i have had in Bahia, the Spicy Fried Chicken, with some homemade sauce. Plain and simple, a GREAT BEACH.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was here for the Festival of Yemaya. It's massive be prepared to walk a lot! There are over 100,000 people here, it's fun, but not for those desiring an easy stroll. Traffic is blocked off in all directions, so you will walk in and walk out to find an Uber or taxi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean, chairs and umbrellas for rent on weekends, a variety of snacks and local dishes available, but no toilet facilities. Great for spending a morning or afternoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A much quieter beach that the ones in Barra. They have a area protected by rock that lessens the waves which is perfect for children and people not strong swimmers, and to the left of it you have bigger stronger waves for stronger swimmers
Only down side is the sun gets blocked earlier by some a big hail with houses. You can expect to start loosing sun aroun 430 5pm.
Still an amazing view
