★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this area as it was really local - no tourists what so ever. Several well frequented restaurants by locals around. The yacht club is in that area as well. However, be prepared to get lost in the very (!) narrow one way streets. But no worries, locals are very flexible.

May it be the view of the other side of the bay, may be the boats, the shells over the sand on the beach, may be the people or restaurants with typical dishes. The typical food sellers have a variety of typical snacks like banana real, acarajé or fish.
