Localizada na cidade de Itaguatins, é um lugar paradisíaco com uma paisagem que encanta os nossos olhos. One of the most beautiful beaches on the Tocantins River in this northern region of the state of Tocantins. Located in the city of Itaguatins, it is a paradisiacal place with a landscape that enchants our eyes. The nature of the place with the green waters of the Tocantins River, in a gentle waterfall, with the characteristic noise of the water rumbling through the rocks, complete this magnificent landscape. A visit to Praia do Tio Claro and the peaceful city of Itaguatins is really worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terra natal, gente humilde e acolhedora. A perder de vista uma cachoeira que não tem igual. Extensa e não é queda vertical mas horizontal. O que dar um charme a mais, correnteza muito forte mas de uma visão exuberante, de um lado o Tocantins e do outro o amado Maranhão do coco babaçu!
Homeland, humble and welcoming people. As far as the eye can see, a waterfall that has no equal. Extensive and is not vertical but horizontal drop. What gives it extra charm, a very strong current but with an exuberant view, on one side Tocantins and on the other the beloved Maranhão of the babaçu coconut!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uma ótima praia, bem limpa lugar lindo onde sempre tem gente bacana, tem um bom peixe frito ficar praticamente dentro da cidade, então se precisar comprar algo está tudo ao alcance, da pra acampar tranquilo sem problemas água limpa, show muito bom essa praia vale apena visitar!!
A great beach, very clean, beautiful place where there are always nice people, there is good fried fish, practically inside the city, so if you need to buy something, everything is within reach, you can camp without problems, clean water, very good show, this beach is worth it just visit !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fui pescar na Rampa que ladeia a Praia do Rio Claro. Ferrei um Raia que deu trabalho para sair do local em que estava colada. Mais de 1 hora depois e com a ajuda de moradores locais que subi numa voadeira e com os rapazes remando chegas ao local. A raia subiu depois de muito esforço. Não tinha mais os esporões. Pesava pouco mais de 10 Kg. Soltei-a logo. Fazia tempo que não tinha uma boa briga. Depois disto as emoções foram diluindo. Voltamos para São Domingos do Lago: Eu, e o casal de Irmaos: Aroldo e Alzideide.
I went fishing on the Ramp that flanks Rio Claro Beach. I screwed a streak that took work to get out of where it was glued. More than 1 hour later and with the help of locals who climbed on a boat and with the paddling boys arrived on the scene. The streak rose after much effort. I didn't have the spurs anymore. It weighed just over 10 kg. I released it soon. It had been a long time since I had a good fight. After that the emotions were diluting. We return to São Domingos do Lago: Me, and the couple of Irmaos: Aroldo and Alzideide.
