Como turista, tenho o hábito de fazer expedições com veículos 4x4, em estradas de terra com um grupo de amigos. Este ano, escolhemos a linda cidade de Carrancas para passarmos os dias de carnaval em uma pousada. Organizamos a expedição partindo de Belo Horizonte e percorremos cerca de 250 km de estrada de terra. O roteiro previa passar por Caquende, atravessar com a balsa até Capela do Saco e continuar até Carrancas. Na ida, fomos surpreendidos com a informação de que a balsa somente atravessaria a barragem até as 17 horas. Estamos no horário de verão, durante um feriadão de carnaval e não pudemos atravessar. Na volta, 4a feira, fizemos o roteiro inverso, ou seja, saimos de Carrancas até Capela do Saco para atravessar a barragem com destino a Caquende. Também fomos surpreendidos com a informação de que a balsa iria parar de 12 às 14 horas. Como chegamos às 11 horas, foram apenas mais duas travessias e o operador da balsa foi almoçar e voltaria às 14 horas. Tivemos que abortar novamente a travessia. Ora, estávamos nos orientando pela rota da Estrada Real que consideramos turística.
Por favor, verifiquem este horário de funcionamento e corrijam esta distorção.

As a tourist, I have the habit of expediting 4x4 vehicles on dirt roads with a group of friends. This year, we chose the beautiful city of Carrancas to spend the days of carnival in an inn. We organized the expedition from Belo Horizonte and traveled about 250 km of dirt road. The itinerary foresaw passing through Caquende, crossing the ferry to Capela do Saco and continuing to Carrancas. On the way out, we were surprised to hear that the ferry would only cross the dam until 5 pm. It is summer time during a carnival holiday and we could not cross. On the return, on Wednesday, we made the inverse itinerary, that is, we left Carrancas until Capela do Saco to cross the dam bound for Caquende. We were also surprised by the information that the ferry would stop from 12 to 14 hours. As we arrived at 11 o'clock, there were only two more crossings and the ferry operator went to lunch and would be back at 14 o'clock. We had to abort the crossing again. Well, we were heading along the Royal Road route that we considered touristy.
Please check this opening hours and correct this distortion.
