Beautiful square in Petrópolis which is in front of the São Pedro de Alcântara cathedral in Cascatinha. It has some benches for the class to seat and read a book and a statue. It is also in front of the house where the princess who gives name to the square lived.

Possui um monumento a Julio Koeler (arquiteto alemão, naturalizado brasileiro, que projetou o Palácio Imperial, hoje Museu Imperial, bem como o primeiro distrito de Petrópolis). A praça fica aos pés da escada da Catedral, proporcionando uma bela visão da igreja.
Small but charming square. It has a monument to Julio Koeler (German architect, naturalized Brazilian, who designed the Imperial Palace, now the Imperial Museum, as well as the first district of Petrópolis). The square is at the foot of the Cathedral steps, providing a beautiful view of the church.
