★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Não recomendo, não pelos cortes, mas pelo atendimento. Achei pelo Google e conferi os tipos de cabelos cortados, apesar mais pessoas negras haviam também pessoas brancas de cabelo liso que não é o meu caso que possuo cabelo cacheado.
Acontece que simplesmente não fui atendido. Na espera não havia ninguém e no salão três barbeiros cortando cabelos afro. Ao entrar ninguém me informou que seria apenas cabelo afro assim como as fotos do Google também mostram.
O grande problema foi que chegou um rapaz depois de mim, um dos barbeiros terminou e passou o rapaz que chegou depois de mim na minha frente. Observei e aguardei sem falar nada.
O segundo barbeiro terminou e não me atendeu. Sentou na cadeira e não me chamou. Quando entrou um novo rapaz, ele passou na frente sendo atendido pelo segundo barbeiro.
Olha, eu entendo todos os problemas de raça e racismo estrutural, mas acredito que se não somos no mínimo respeitosos com o outro que se mostra respeitoso, realmente, vamos continuar em estruturas racistas, machistas, misógenas e certamente, extremista.
Então se você for uma pessoa mais clara ou tiver cabelos cacheados, não vá a esse salão porque não vão te atender. Ou pode ser que tenha dado azar e eu não fui atendido. Mas particularmente, achei um absurdo, principalmente porque todos os clientes vieram falar comigo, apertaram minha mão e me trataram super bem.
Apenas os barbeiros não me trataram com a mínima educação esperada por um serviço ou apenas o esperado a um ser humano.
É isso.
I don't recommend it, not because of the cuts, but because of the service. I found it by Google and checked the types of hair cut, although more black people there were also white people with straight hair, which is not my case that I have curly hair.
Turns out I just didn't get it. There was no one waiting and three barbers in the salon were cutting their Afro hair. Upon entering, no one informed me that it would only be afro hair as the Google photos also show.
The big problem was that a guy arrived after me, one of the barbers finished and the guy who arrived after me passed in front of me. I watched and waited without saying anything.
The second barber finished and didn't see me. He sat in the chair and didn't call me. When a new boy came in, he went ahead and was attended by the second barber.
Look, I understand all the problems of race and structural racism, but I believe that if we are not at least respectful to the other person who is respectful, really, we will continue in racist, sexist, misogeneous and certainly extremist structures.
So if you're a lighter person or have curly hair, don't go to this salon because they won't see you. Or maybe it was bad luck and I didn't get it. But particularly, I thought it was absurd, mainly because all the customers came to talk to me, shook my hand and treated me very well.
Only the barbers didn't treat me with the minimum politeness expected for a service or just the expected of a human being.
