★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Está bem cuidada e agora tem algumas novidades, como parte para crianças e mais mesas e cadeiras na parte externa, mas nem todas as mudanças foram para melhor, a parte de jornais foi unida à parte de leitura. Precisava ter mais livros e espaço para leitura. Também gostaria de poder usar o Wi-Fi em todas as dependências da biblioteca, o que até agora não é possível.
 It is well cared for and now there are some new features, such as a children's section and more tables and chairs on the outside, but not all changes were for the better, the newspaper section was joined to the reading section. Needed to have more books and space for reading. I would also like to be able to use Wi-Fi in all library dependencies, which until now is not possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ É uma boa opção de local de estudos no centro da cidade. O acervo não é tão extenso, mas supre necessidades básicas. O atendimento pelos funcionários é cordial. O ambiente é climatizado, limpo e organizado, dá pra estudar/ler, sem ser incomodado. Possui uma área externa com mesas e cadeiras bastante disputadas para quem quer bater um papo. Recomendo.
It is a good choice of study location in the city center. The collection is not so extensive, but meets basic needs. The service provided by the staff is cordial. The environment is air-conditioned, clean and organized, you can study / read, without being disturbed. It has an outdoor area with tables and chairs very disputed for those who want to chat. I recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muito bom! Tem ar-condicionado e internet. E bebedouro de agua geladinha! Os banheiros são cuidados por terceirizados e quando estão em greve não tem papel higiênico. Levem na bolsa. Eu ia sempre que faltava aula na escola ,no começo do ano. Sinto falta demais. Aprendi muito com os folhetos sobre cultura popular do sertão de pernambuco. Do outro lado do parque 13 de maio , faculdade de direito do recife, tem biscoito por 1 real e 50 com o moço (ele deixa nng ficar com fome,pode faltar ate dinheiro.recomendo). Quanto ao acervo tem uns livros super antigos lá, "cheirinho de guardado"..bem conservados ,de qse um século .. porém ótimos. Mas acho que o material pra estudos pro ensino médio não é tãao bom. São só livros do governo do estado re-aproveitados. Os pcs só funcionam p/ e-books.
Very good! It has air conditioning and internet. And water cooler! Bathrooms are maintained by third parties and when they are on strike there is no toilet paper. Take it in the bag. I went to school whenever I missed school at the beginning of the year. I miss it so much. I learned a lot from the popular culture leaflets of the Pernambuco hinterland. Across the park May 13, Reef Law School, has a biscuit for $ 1 and $ 50 with the boy (he lets nng get hungry, may even lack money. I recommend). As for the collection there are some super old books there, "smelling of saved" .. well kept, from a century ago .. but great. But I think the material for high school studies is not so good. These are just reused state government books. The pcs only work for ebooks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Para quem quer saber se a biblioteca está funcionando nesse período de pandemia e tenta contato por e-mail ou telefone e não tem retorno, fui hoje lá (08/10/2021) e está aberta ao público, só os horários aqui no Google que estão desatualizados! ;)
For those who want to know if the library is working during this period of pandemic and try to contact us by email or phone and there is no return, I went there today (10/08/2021) and it is open to the public, only the times here on Google are out of date! ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excelente ambiente, super indico. Pena que tenha criaturas que não respeitam o que é público e gratuito. Menosprezando é vandalizando o ambiente. Poderia também ter um contre do estacionamento. Tem gente que coloca o carro lá some.
Excellent atmosphere, super recommend. Too bad there are creatures that do not respect what is public and free. Belittling is vandalizing the environment. It could also have a parking counter. There are people who put the car there disappear.

A Biblioteca Pública do Estado está cituada bem no centro do Recife, capital do Estado e é um ótimo lugar para estudar, ler e pesquisar.
- ATIVIDADES:
Aberta ao público de segunda a sexta a biblioteca oferece serviços de empréstimo de livros para todas as faixas etárias, espaço de estudo individual ou em grupos, biblioteca virtual (sem WI-FI), consulta de periódicos e jornais.
A seção infantil (fechada pra reforma - 2017) tem atividades lúdicas para crianças como teatro e contação de história além de dispor de jogos e gibis pra criançada.
- PROXIMIDADES:
A biblioteca fica bem de frente ao parque 13 de maio, o que torna o passeio completo pra quem tem crianças.
Se você tem disposição pra andar, em mais ou menos 10 ou 15 minutos tem-se:

- Museu paço do frevo

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Biblioteca organizadíssima. A parte infanto-juvenil possui um acervo maravilhoso com mais de 2000 exemplares. Aparelho cultural importante e que todos devem acessar. Para fazer o cadastro é simples: R$ 3 + comprovante de residência e documento oficial com foto.
Very organized library. The children's part has a wonderful collection with more than 2000 copies. Important cultural apparatus that everyone should access. To register is simple: R$ 3 + proof of residence and official document with photo.
