★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I couldn’t resist going to Rango Vegan every day for its menu of the day lunch. Truly some of the best vegan food I’ve even had and it’s super affordable! I always leave wondering why there can’t be more affordable vegan places around the world... Don’t forget to try the desserts, you won’t believe they don’t contain eggs/milk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is amazing, especially their lunch menu which come with rice set with beans, vegetables, and egg. The food is so tasty and if you are spicy lover, ask their pimenta. They open start lunch time at 12 and close at 3 pm before open again at 4 until late night. Happy tummy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place isn't great. The service from the waiter was very abrupt and he was very rude. The food was pretty bland, especially the falafel which had no flavours or seasoning. The photos on the review shows some great views over the Bay, well clearly they have moved now and there are no amazing views. The only saving grace was the owner who was very welcoming and the chocolate milkshake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is a pretty building with a nice view of the bay through the trees. If you have any mobility issues or a poor sense of balance, this restaurant is not suitable as there's a rickety set of old stairs to enter and more stairs within the restaurant.
I had a vegan lasagne for R$22 and an organic beer for R$14, both of which were enjoyable although the lasagne was a bit dry. The usual 10% service charge is added. The restaurant seems to have an on-site cat, which adds to the charm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cheap and cheerful local vegan place, with no frills food and attentive service.
They mainly do lunches, and serve simple options with basic choices. They’re open on Saturday evenings for pizza and snacks. They also serve Artisanal beers and basic drinks.
The food was healthy, and tasted like it had been home cooked.
They have a small outdoor veranda area overlooking the ocean. If you can snag a seat outside, and this is the preferred place to sit.
Otherwise, if you’re inside there’s no air-conditioning and it can get hot in summer.
If you want a cheap and friendly place for a super healthy lunch and amazing views, this is the place.
