★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comida ok, dentro do esperado. Preços achamos ok também (pela nossa base vindo do Rio) , atendimento bastante simpático e prestativo. Vale bastante se você estiver no hotel (que esse sim é muito bom) e não quiser sair.
Food ok, as expected. Prices are ok too (because of our base coming from Rio), very friendly and helpful service. It's worth a lot if you're at the hotel (which is really good) and don't want to leave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fiquei hospedado. Hotel e o pessoal do hotel são ótimos. Prestativos, profissionais. Aconselho. Mas o restaurante... é a segunda refeição que faço aqui por causa da chuva. Pratos caros, ZERO valem o preço que cobram. Primeiro foi uma salada de camarão... muita folha sem tempero nenhum, pouquíssimo camarão... Acresentei o peixe... sem gosto nenhum, pouca porção, mais caro que o Rio...Próxima noite chuva e trabalho, resolvi arriscar de novo... pedi filet mignon ao ponto... a carne veio super passada, sem gosto.... Na boa, eu saio em lugares que cobram caro no Rio mas ao menos a maioria das vezes os pratos são super saborosos... algo diferente... aqui o normal está horrível. Nao aconselho de forma nenhuma. O Jotel é o pessoal do hotel são ótimos, aconselho.
I stayed. Hotel and hotel staff are great. Helpful, professional. advise. But the restaurant... it's the second meal I've had here because of the rain. Expensive, ZERO dishes are worth the price they charge. First there was a shrimp salad... lots of leaves without any seasoning, very little shrimp... I added the fish... no taste at all, small portion, more expensive than Rio... Next night rain and work, I decided to take the risk of new... I ordered filet mignon to the point... the meat was overcooked, tasteless.... Actually, I go out to places that charge a lot in Rio but at least most of the time the dishes are super tasty.. something different... here the normal is horrible. I do not advise at all. Jotel and the hotel staff are great, I advise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would not recommend eating anything else but the breakfast in this restaurant. It is inside the Iara Beach Hotel, which is a great place to stay by the way, but the restaurant is not even "good enough". The food doesn't have taste, the portion sizes are small and expensive, and the service is slow.
You can taste in the food the lack of interest in providing the clients with tasty, healthy, and good food.
The dessert ice cream was the cheapest ones you can buy in bulk (5 litres) in a local supermarket for a fraction of the 14 R$ they charge you for it. Absolutely terrible.
Pastas were all too salty, small, overcooked, and oily.
+ You can and should order pizza from the nearby pizza places and I guarantee you'll be more satisfied.
