★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comecei minhas aulas de natação lá em meados dos anos 2000 e anos depois retornei para treinar enquanto a piscina do XV passava por reformas. Foi bom treinar lá, era bem tranquilo, quase sempre vazio, eventualmente se via algumas crianças jogando jogos de tabuleiro. Naquela época a infraestrutura já era um pouco precária mas dava pra aproveitar. Ouvi falar de projetos de revitalização mas pelo visto nunca saiu do papel, muito triste, aparentemente em algum momento vão vender e construir um condomínio de prédios lá, é o que anda acontecendo na cidade. Guardarei boas lembranças desse lugar.
I started my swimming lessons there in the mid 2000s and years later I returned to train while the XV pool was undergoing renovations. It was good to train there, it was very quiet, almost always empty, occasionally you would see some kids playing board games. At that time, the infrastructure was already a little precarious but it was possible to take advantage of it. I heard about revitalization projects but apparently it never got off the ground, very sad, apparently at some point they're going to sell and build a condominium of buildings there, that's what's been happening in the city. I will keep good memories of this place.
