★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O Museu Regional de Arte (MRA), primeira instituição museológica de Feira de Santana, foi criado em 26 de março de 1967, e integra, desde 1995, o Centro Universitário de Cultura e Arte (CUCA), da Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana (UEFS), tendo então sua sede transferida para seu atual endereço, situado à Rua Conselheiro Franco, nº 66, Centro – Feira de Santana, Bahia.
The Regional Museum of Art (MRA), the first museum institution in Feira de Santana, was created on March 26, 1967, and since 1995 has been part of the University Center for Culture and Art (CUCA), at the Feira de Santana State University. (UEFS), having its headquarters transferred to its current address, located at Rua Conselheiro Franco, 66, Centro - Feira de Santana, Bahia.

Sempre tem a exposição da coleção Inglesa doada por Assis Chateaubriand e sempre exposições que valorizam os nossos artistas. Um lugar lindíssimo, um prédio antigo que você se sente em casa. Tem oficinas para crianças e é um importante ponto educativo.
The Museum is the center of the articulation of our culture with the world and with our region. It always has the exhibition of the English collection donated by Assis Chateaubriand and always exhibitions that value our artists. A beautiful place, an old building that you feel at home. It has workshops for children and is an important educational point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fui visitar o museu hoje ao meio-dia e encontrei fechado e com cadeados, no site não avisa que fecha ao meio-dia. Estou de viagem e este Museu fica bem no centro da cidade. Poderíam especificar no site que fecham ao meio-dia. Ou será que não abrem nesta época do ano? Eu que adoro visitar museus estou decepicionada.
I went to visit the museum today at noon and found it closed and with padlocks, the site does not warn that it closes at noon. I am traveling and this museum is right in the city center. They could specify on the site that they close at noon. Or won't it open this time of year? I love to visit museums I am disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esse foi o primeiro museu que visitei na minha vida. Fiquei maravilhado com esse complexo cultural tão importante para a cidade de Feira e região. Quando conheci, nesta ocasião de julho 2018, consegui visualizar uma variedade de obras expostas, desde pinturas, esculturas, no salão do museu etc. Em relação ao complexo, existe uma variedade de salas para práticas artísticas como atelier, dança, música, etc, enfim, possui uma infraestrutura incrível. Além disso, gostei muito a arquitetura edificada, que representa um certo neoclássico/eclético, datado do início do século XX, sendo dessa forma um importante edifício histórico da cidade de Feira de Santana. Diante de tudo isso, a mensagem que passo é que vale muito a pena conhecer o prédio e se maravilhar com seus potenciais e representatividades histórico-culturais e arquitetônicas
This was the first museum I visited in my life. I was amazed by this cultural complex so important for the city of Feira and region. When I met, on this occasion of July 2018, I managed to visualize a variety of works exhibited, from paintings, sculptures, in the museum hall etc. In relation to the complex, there is a variety of rooms for artistic practices such as atelier, dance, music, etc., in short, it has an incredible infrastructure. In addition, I really liked the built architecture, which represents a certain neoclassical / eclectic, dating from the beginning of the 20th century, thus being an important historic building in the city of Feira de Santana. In view of all this, the message I send is that it is very worthwhile to know the building and marvel at its potentials and historical, cultural and architectural representations.
