Gabimell is a restaurant in the center of Araguaína. It is located in a prosperous neighborhood. The restaurant is self-service. The restaurant has many tables available, inside and outside. Outside is also a dedicated play area for children with a trampoline, some slides, and rocking horses. This area is fenced so the children cannot run into the area with tables.
Inside there is a bar with on one side the hot food and on the other side are the cold food. There is a wide variety of food. Meat and fish can be obtained at a counter. Besides the roasted meat and sausages, there is also an option for fish in particular salmon. The plates with food have to be weighed at a separate counter. This counter is small and there exist a queue of people waiting for their plate to be weighed.
While seated at the table, a waiter comes to take an order for drinks. When the restaurant is crowded, it can take a while before the waiter comes. In the meantime, the customer has almost finished his plate.
The food is very tasteful. Especially the option for salmon is a surprise, but the salmon is very salty. The disadvantage of this restaurant is that the kilo price is high. The food does not rectify the price. The price in the weekend is even higher. The high price is a clear separation of what the type of clients the restaurant wants to attract.
The restaurant has Wi-Fi.
The restaurant is accessible for wheelchairs, but the bar with food is too high for a disabled person to see the food. Also, the toilets are not accessible for wheelchairs. The doors are too small and there does not exist a special toilet with sidebars.
The staff can be more friendly. There is no “service with a smile” at this restaurant.
The restaurant receives four stars. There exist a large variety of tasteful food, but the staff can be more friendly.
