This is very nice Brazilian restaurant which offers a modern approach to traditional ingredients and dishes. We went there on a Saturday night. It's very usual to find large groups of friends and family during weekends at any restaurant in Brazil. This was no exception but the dinning area was not packed. We skipped the starters and went directly for the main courses. I ordered the Medalhões de Mignon which is tenderloin with asparagus, palm tree hearts and biquinho peppers. It was very tasty and the palm tree hearts added a local flavor to the tenderloin which is a worldwide classic. My wife wanted to ask a Moqueca but it is only served as a dish for 2 people. She asked the Pescada em Folha Bananeira instead. I did not tried it but she liked it a lot. Basically is fish cooked in coconut sauce served with rice and cashew nuts. For dessert we order a Romeu e Julieta to share. Thats warm goiabada paste with cheese ice-cream. Delicious. The mix of flavors, warm goiabada (guava paste) and ice-cram was perfectly balanced. We loved it.

Delicious! we had the moqueca, Borogodó, pastéis de camarão, dadinho de tapioca e for dessert the tabuleiro da baiana and Bapioca! I am happy to have found this place. I recommend it to anyone looking for a Brazilian cuisine experience and to enjoy great food. Well done Bananeira! :)

Very nice place to taste some good and different Brazilian food. Food is very delicious and beer is very good too, not much variety but that's ok. Portions are just fine and I loved the decorations of the place, made me feel like I was on the beach. Definitely a place I would return, prices I think are fair for the service and the food.

Full of flavor and options! Had the banana moqueca (a bit too sweet for me), fish In banana leaf (perfect), batata doce with cheese (filling), and a few desserts. Everything was great and I would return. Was there on a Saturday and there was live music and a feijoada Buffett. They have valet.

Very cozy tropical themed restaurant. Their specialty is seafood dishes with plantains. Make sure to try their prawn, plantain, pepper skewer appetizer and their fish stew (muqueca). It seems like their fish grilled in banana leaf is also very good, will try next time I visit.
