Entretanto, durante o 1º Festival Gastronômico da Banana do Vale de Mambucaba, fomos agradavelmente surpreendidos ao sermos servidos com uma deliciosa moqueca e banana da terra com molho de camarão, cujo tempero estava muito saboroso e ainda veio acompanhado por um apetitoso purê de abóbora com banana com uma boa consistência. E para fechar com chave de ouro, foi nos oferecido umas esplêndida torta cremosa de banana.
Ficamos sabendo, posteriormente, que eles foram agraciados com o segundo lugar do Festival. O vencedor foi um feijão tropeiro com banana, o qual também havíamos provado. Não era melhor do que o que nos foi servido no Restaurante Paladar.

However, during the 1st Gastronomic Festival of Banana in the Vale de Mambucaba, we were pleasantly surprised to be served with a delicious moqueca and plantain with shrimp sauce, whose seasoning was very tasty and was also accompanied by an appetizing pumpkin puree with banana. with a good consistency. And to close with a flourish, we were offered some splendid creamy banana pie.
We later learned that they were awarded second place in the Festival. The winner was a tropeiro beans with banana, which we had also tasted. It was no better than what we were served at Restaurante Paladar.
