No entardecer do dia 8 de julho de 1911, oito jovens do pacato distrito de Ribeirão Pires se reuniram debaixo de uma árvore, sob a luz de um lampião, com a ideia de fundar um clube social e desportivo, o primeiro daquela pacata localidade, que recebeu então o nome de Clube Atlético Internacional de Ribeirão Pires, nome que só foi mudado em assembleia realizada em 19 de maio de 1912. Nascia assim o Ribeirão Pires Futebol Clube.
E isso foi só o começo!
O RPFC é hoje o mais antigo clube em atividade no ABC.

Possui uma boa estrutura com piscinas, quadras para diversos esportes, campo de futebol, academia, aulas de judô, futebol, vôlei, ballet, uma de condicionamento físico que é excelente, Zumba, street dance entre outras. Carece de alguns cuidados adicionais, mas é feito e frequentado por pessoas de bem e que querem melhorar sua saúde através da atividade física e diversão. Nota 10!! Escolinha de esportes reaberta e ja está funcionando normalmente e já tem agenda de entretenimento no salão social.
It is a club very well located in the city center of Ribeirão Pires. It has a good structure with swimming pools, courts for different sports, soccer field, gym, judo, soccer, volleyball, ballet, an excellent physical conditioning, Zumba, street dance among others. It needs some additional care, but it is made and frequented by good people who want to improve their health through physical activity and fun. Grade 10!! Sports school reopened and is already working normally and already has an entertainment agenda in the social lounge.
