★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place!!! Beautiful view of the Guanabara Bay and the Sugar Loaf Mountain. The food is very good. It is cheaper if you eat seating at the varanda compared to inside the restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have taken lunch here time and time again over the years, watched regattas taking place and the coming and going of ocean going yachts from the restaurant's logia. The quisine cannot be bettered and the choice of wines parexcellanc. Try the miolo cuvee guiseppe with their traditional roast beef. NB this is a very exclusive members only club and if not a member (a quota holder) you will need to be a guest of an accredited quota holder in order to gain admittance. If not, I suggest you enquire aforehand in person as they sometimes bend the rules. It's more than worth the effort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion, it is the worst yacht club in Brazil. They do NOT help visiting yachts, so plan your repairs somewhere else. Not a good place for cruisers. Grab a mooring in Praia da Urca for free and be surrounded by great people.
