Não é no entanto o lugar aconselhado para quem procura paz e sossego, para quem gosta de passar a tarde na piscina lendo um livro tranquilamente ou simplesmente relaxando, o latido dos vários cachorros na piscina que deveria ser um lugar de descanso e relaxamento infelizmente tornam impossivel desligar e conectar com a natureza em redor. Que pena. Relaxar em um playground para cachorros não é o meu conceito de final de semana agradável.
Fantastic place, all extremely well integrated with nature. Good example of a well distributed and inviting historic house. Excellent and impeccable service from all staff without exception.
However, it is not the recommended place for those looking for peace and quiet, for those who like to spend the afternoon by the pool reading a book quietly or simply relaxing. disconnect and connect with the surrounding nature. What a pity. Relaxing on a dog playground is not my concept of a nice weekend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Xavier, Enis, Alex, Andressa, Carolina e Edson fizeram muita diferença na minha estadia. Sempre disponíveis para me ajudar, atentos a detalhes e cuidadosos comigo e com o meu filho de quatro patas, Paco. Algumas vezes parecia que eles liam meus pensamentos e sentimentos e me ofereciam uma manta para cobrir o Paco, uma água, ou até mesmo acender a lareira. Pensei que a previsão de chuva para o período da minha viagem a tornaria pior, mas muito pelo contrário, consegui aproveitar muito, de banhos relaxantes de banheira com cheirosos sais de banhos, a admirar a bela vista da mata ao me aquecer e ser massageada na banheira de hidromassagem, a tomar um dos melhores cafés da manhã da minha vida, com todos os ingredientes naturais, ler livros interessantíssimos que estavam a disposição no meu quarto e até mesmo fazer trilha. Tudo neste pedacinho do paraíso me fez me sentir bem, a sustentabilidade, a paz, o amor… com certeza deixarei aqui, com sentimento de muita gratidão.
Sabe aquele mundo utópico que imaginamos, mas parece somente um grande sonho ? Pode ser um sonho grande demais para o mundo inteiro, mas não para o Ronco do Bugio, que está a somente 1 hora e meia de São Paulo.
Xavier, Enis, Alex, Andressa, Carolina and Edson made a big difference in my stay. Always available to help me, attentive to details and careful with me and my four-legged son, Paco. Sometimes it seemed that they read my thoughts and feelings and offered me a blanket to cover Paco, water, or even a fire. I thought that the rain forecast for the period of my trip would make it worse, but on the contrary, I managed to enjoy a lot, from relaxing baths with fragrant bath salts, to admiring the beautiful view of the forest as I warmed up and being massaged in the hot tub, having one of the best breakfasts of my life, with all natural ingredients, reading very interesting books that were available in my room and even going hiking. Everything in this little piece of paradise made me feel good, sustainability, peace, love… I will definitely leave it here, with a feeling of gratitude.
You know that utopian world we imagine, but it just seems like a big dream? It may be too big a dream for the whole world, but not for Ronco do Bugio, which is only 1.5 hours from São Paulo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel. Unfortunately I can't give it 4,5 stars. The place is great. Nature on its most majestic way, beautiful architecture, beautiful suites, and a staff extremely friendly and attentive. Some small problems would probably prevent me to coming back here before I experience some other places: the access is a little tough, especially due to work being done in the Bunjiro Nakao road; the cuisine is amazing in the breakfast, the drinks are amazing, the products are all fresh, but it lacks quality at dinner, the only plate that I have really enjoyed was the picadinho; the amount of stuff to do is also limited, only two trails (despite beautiful and extremely well taken care of), the pool is gorgeous but considerably cold, even in hot days, and despite resting, there is not much to do after completing the trails.
I would really like to stress some positive things Breakfast is amazing, truly; only fresh products and options for those lactose intolerant were not only available but delicious. The staff is really well prepared and attentive to the guest's needs, however sometimes short-handed and overwhelmed by the amount of work. The suite 7 is gorgeous, and it seems that every suite is also great.
I would give it a five if not by the price (specially considering that we went there during the first days of opening after the COVID-19 pandemics). For the price payed I would expect better gastronomy (or an full board accommodation) and more leisure options.
PS: great place for pets!
