★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ruim! On a Tuesday night with one other table in the bar, ordered some fries and chicken strips. Chicken came out burnt - a dark brown. I gave it a go but after two bites of dry, chewy poultry, I complained and asked for another.
Extraordinarily, the waiter returned to tell me “that is how it is cooked always” and “I can get you another but it will be the same.”
Now I may not be a connoisseur of fine dining and if it were some specialty that I’d not eaten before I could accept being told how it is meant to be, but I won’t be told that chicken strips are meant to be dark brown, chewy and dry - they aren’t; especially on a Tuesday night with one other table. You just have to deep fry them for 2 mins less, I could have done it myself with no problem, but the chef obviously isn’t interested in customers enjoying his food - and that is why you should not visit this restaurant.
