★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nesse Igreja onde se encontrava a Imagem e relíquia Histórica de São Bom Jesus da Coluna, que recebeu o título de BOM JESUS DA CANA VERDE, no qual a procissão saia na Igreja do Cemitério na primeira segunda-feira após o domingo de páscoa. O andor era decorado com folhas de cana verde e flores. Quando o teto da igreja caiu, as imagens foram levada para matriz de São Sebastião de Lagoa de Itaenga, na época era quase paróquia e pertencia a Paróquia do Divino Espírito Santo do Município de Paudalho. Segundo defendia os mais os anciões, quando a imagem vou levada para matriz de S. Sebastião, no dia seguinte ela retornou a Capela, sucessivamente era levada e retornava a antiga capela. Sendo visto no caminho indo em direção na época por uma criança. Diante disso, todos os anos a comunidade fazia uma procissão para levar a imagem até o local no sentido de não voltar mais a igreja do cemitério do Engenho. História parecida com a Imagem de Santo Antonio no Município de Garanhuns, no qual a imagem toda foi achada no entorno do Monte Magano. Resultado com isso, em colocar uma imagem no centro da cidade voltada para o monte Magano, e, consequentemente colocaram uma imagem de cristo no alto do morro. Hoje chamado Cristo Magano. No caso da imagem de Bom Jesus da Coluna ou da cana verde possui uma oração datada de 1300 no qual diz quer quem rezar um credo na presença da imagem ganhará 300 dias de indigências.
