★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have spent one week in Morro. This was, by a very long stretch, the worst restaurant I have tried in Morro de São Paulo!
Went there for dinner. We had a steak with fries for kids, and some pasta for the adults (4 pasta dishes).
The steak for the kids, consisted of two flat circles of meat that tasted like they were previously cooked and then warmed up in a microwave oven. I was genuinely shocked...
The pasta for the adults carried on the nightmare that we lived in this place...
My friend had lobster linguine. The "lobster" tasted something like in between squid and liver! Really, it probably sounds weird, but this is the honest truth.
I had some pasta Mari Monti (shrimps, nuts and blue cheese, if my memory doesn't fail). Surprise, surprise... The pasta had this strong rancid taste!
Bottom line... It was really a bad experience! I tried plenty of restaurants close by (on the 2nd beach) and elsewhere in the Morro that were much better! I mean... The food on the plane to Salvador was better than the one I was served in this restaurant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a restaurant on the beach, that’s the schtick, not the food. So at that it succeeds. A great place to be to drink and eat. If you need an amazing meal, keep on searching. If you’ll be happy with food that isn’t bad, and cocktails that are pretty good, this is your spot.
