★ ★ ★ ★ ★ São Bento na minha opinião é o município mais legal da região. É o único que preserva a sua arte, cultura e história. É o que tem o povo mais simpático. Falo com muito conhecimento, moro na região a trinta anos, só que não em São Bento, infelizmente, mas é a cidade mais legal dessa região.
São Bento in my opinion is the coolest municipality in the region. It is the only one that preserves its art, culture and history. That's what the most friendly people have. I speak with a lot of knowledge, I have lived in the region for thirty years, only not in São Bento, unfortunately, but it is the coolest city in this region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cidade é rodeada pela serra da Mantiqueira e possui vários atrativos como cachoeiras, trilhas ,escaladas, a fábrica Bauzera de cerveja artesanal, os mirantes e as lindas capelas de mosaico.Há vários locais legais para compra com Arte bem e Arte no quilombo. A fábrica de azeite extravirgem Oliq merece uma visita para almoço e degustação.
A cidade só necessita de mais restaurantes sofisticados e que atendam até mais tarde da noite.
The city is surrounded by the Mantiqueira mountain range and has several attractions such as waterfalls, trails, climbing, the Bauzera craft beer factory, viewpoints and beautiful mosaic chapels. The Oliq extra virgin olive oil factory is worth a visit for lunch and tasting.
The city just needs more upscale, late-night restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Típica cidade interiorana e com uma beleza incrível. Se for passar uns dias, procure um Airbnb no bairro Serrano, pois a vista do vale de lá é simplesmente esplêndida. Não consegui fazer a trilha da Pedra do Baú dessa vez, mas andei a cidade inteira atrás do Zé Pereira (tradição carnavalesca).
Typical country town with incredible beauty. If you are going to spend a few days, look for an Airbnb in the Serrano neighborhood, as the view of the valley from there is simply splendid. I couldn't do the Pedra do Baú trail this time, but I walked the whole city looking for Zé Pereira (carnival tradition).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cidade tem paisagens maravilhosas e é excelente para ter contato com a natureza. Vários restaurantes e atrações possuem vistas incríveis, como o Restaurante da Pedra do Baú, o Mirante do Cruzeiro, a Pedra do Bauzinho e a OLIQ.
MAS a cidade parece funcionar apenas de quinta a domingo. Fomos no final de ano passar uma semana e diversos locais estavam fechados. O mais frustrante foram as cachoeiras, pois uma tem difícil acesso e é imprópria para banho, outras 2 são propriedade particular e só abrem aos finais de semana, e outra também é propriedade particular e data fechada para sempre. Lamentável!
The city has wonderful landscapes and is excellent for contact with nature. Several restaurants and attractions have incredible views, such as Restaurante da Pedra do Baú, Mirante do Cruzeiro, Pedra do Bauzinho and OLIQ.
BUT the city seems to only work from Thursday to Sunday. We went at the end of the year to spend a week and several places were closed. The most frustrating were the waterfalls, as one has difficult access and is unsuitable for bathing, another 2 are private property and only open on weekends, and another is also private property and closed forever. Unfortunate!
