★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Secretaria Municipal de Saúde tem por finalidade coordenar e executar programas, projetos e atividades visando promover o atendimento integral à saúde da população do Município, em consonância com as políticas emanadas pelos governos federal e estadual no âmbito do Sistema Único de Saúde – SUS, competindo-lhe:
( I ) - planejar, coordenar, nos níveis ambulatorial e hospitalar, as atividades de atenção à saúde, médicas e odontológicas, de controle de zoonoses, de vigilância epidemiológica e de fiscalização e vigilância sanitária, de saúde do trabalhador, de controle, avaliação e regulação da rede contratada e conveniada do SUS, articulando-se com os demais níveis de gestão do SUS para exercer suas atividades de atenção e gestão da saúde de forma integrada;
( II ) – prestar suporte técnico e administrativo ao Conselho Municipal de Saúde;
( III ) – gerir o fundo municipal de saúde;
( IV ) – exercer outras atividades correlatas.
 The Municipal Health Department's purpose is to coordinate and execute programs, projects and activities aimed at promoting comprehensive health care for the population of the Municipality, in line with the policies issued by the federal and state governments within the scope of the Unified Health System - SUS, competing -you:
(I) - plan, coordinate, at the outpatient and hospital levels, the activities of health, medical and dental care, control of zoonoses, epidemiological surveillance and inspection and sanitary surveillance, worker's health, control, evaluation and regulation of the SUS contracted and contracted network, articulating with the other levels of SUS management to carry out its health care and management activities in an integrated manner;
( II ) – provide technical and administrative support to the Municipal Health Council;
(III) – manage the municipal health fund;
(IV) – perform other related activities.
