★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nessa época em que foi construído, a vista para o mar não era valorizada, nem como turismo, pois a população não tinha o hábito de ir à praia.
Por isso, as casas comerciais tinham seus fundos voltados para a orla porém o sobrado do príncipe é o único da região que é de frente para o mar, pois é do período imperial, de 1830 aproximadamente, quando o ciclo do comércio do ouro já tinha terminado.
A fachada traz as cores da família imperial brasileira com o verde da Casa de Bragança e o amarelo da família Habsburgo.
Contudo, não há nada de espetacular para visitar.
Local encontra-se fechado.
