"Se alguém recorrer aos médiuns e adivinhos, prostituindo-se com eles, eu voltarei minha face contra ele e o eliminarei do meio do povo" (Lv 20,6).
"Não se ache o meio de ti quem faça passar pelo fogo seu filho ou sua filha, nem quem se dê à adivinhação, à astrologia, aos agouros, ao feiticismo, à magia, ao espiritismo, à adivinhação ou à invocação dos mortos, porque o Senhor, teu Deus abomina aqueles que se dão a essas práticas, e é por causa dessas abominações que o Senhor, teu Deus, expulsa diante de ti essas nações" (Dt 18,10-12).
Sobre a reencarnação, que os espíritas acreditam como uma "verdade".
Jesus disse a São Dimas, o bom ladrão:
"Hoje estarás comigo no paraíso" (Lc 23, 43).
Jesus eliminou nitidamente, nessa expressão, a chance de qualquer reencarnação. Dimas não reencarnaria muitas vezes para ser salvo.
A unidade corpo e alma é insuperável no cristianismo , o corpo não é uma roupa que pode ser substituida por outras infinitas vezes. Além do mais, como foi dito...
"Como está determinado que os homens morram uma só vez, e logo em seguida vem o juízo" (Hebreus 9, 27).
"Do not turn to the mediums, nor consult the spirits, that you may not be unclean. I am the Lord your God" (Lev. 19:31).
"If anyone turns to mediums and soothsayers, by prostituting himself with them, I will turn my face against him and cut him off from among the people" (Lev. 20: 6).
"Let not the means of thee find that cause her son or daughter to pass through the fire, nor whosoever passeth into divination, astrology, omens, witchcraft, magic, spiritualism, divination or the invocation of the dead, because the Lord your God abhors those who do these things, and it is because of these abominations that the Lord your God drives out these nations before you "(Deuteronomy 18: 10-12).
About reincarnation, which spiritualists believe as a "truth".
Jesus said to Saint Dimas the good thief:
"Today you will be with me in paradise" (Lk 23:43).
Jesus clearly eliminated in this expression the chance of any reincarnation. Dimas would not often reincarnate to be saved.
The unity of body and soul is unsurpassed in Christianity, the body is not a garment that can be substituted for others endlessly. Moreover, as has been said ...
"How is it determined that men die only once, and afterwards comes judgment" (Hebrews 9:27).
